A day at the beach... in January

The sun was out and the frost had mostly melted away, so Abby and I grabbed our books, blankets, lawn chairs and sunglasses and headed for the beach (on Monday). We ended up at Little Squalicum Beach. I've lived here for almost 10 years and I've never been before. It was nice to go to a new beach in town. We both liked it, and I think we'll go back again.
