Tree in the stand; no lights. All 17 feet of it.
Tadaaa, it's lit.
I had to borrow the neighbors super-extended ladder to wrap the lights around the top.
Do you believe in magic?
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.
You're probably asking yourself, "Why aren't there any ornaments on the tree?". It's because the branches are so flimsy that they barely support the strands of lights. Now you know.
What you can't see in the pictures is the rope that I have tied to the tree and wall to keep the tree from tipping over. Six-foot tree stands aren't exactly designed for 17-foot tall trees. : )
I'd love to see pictures of everyone elses Christmas trees. Please share.

I wish I could have been there to see you scramble up the ladder to get into position before the camera timer went off. That must have been priceless.
