Weekend at Whistler

Abby and I had the chance to go to Whistler this weekend, so we jumped on it. It was a ton of fun. I mean, why not, it's only three hours away. Plus, the border is a breaze with our NEXUS passes - no wait.

We spent part of Saturday riding the peak-to-peak gondola from Whistler Mountain to Blackcomb Mountain. IT... WAS... INCREDIBLE! It is the longest unsupported stretch of cable in the world.

Here we are riding the Gondola up Whistler Mountain.

Here's Abby when we're riding the peak-to-peak portion, from Whistler to Blackcomb. We're WAY off the ground, and that's Whistler village in the valley.

This is looking backwards, along the cables we're riding on, towards Whistler Mountain.

Here's Abby enjoying the view from Blackcomb Mountain. As you can see, there was still snow on the ground at the top.

A shot of us from Blackcomb.

Again, from Blackcomb.

As you can see from the pictures, the weather and views were incredible.

This was the second time we've been there. The first time we went was September, 2003, right after we were married. That trip was a gift from my groomsmen - sweet! We've never actually been to Whistler in the winter, which is when most people usually go.
